Nokia 5530 Hacking Tutorial
In the last tutorial i explained the signing process to install unsigned applications, games and themes on your Nokia 5530. The process is easy but it gets boring after sometime. After all, we never do such thing on PC to install applications.
If you wish to get rid of signing, the one and only way out is hacking you Nokia 5530. Once hacked, you will be able to install all unsigned apps, games and themes without going through any signing process.
For hacking you will need to sign this application called Helloox 2 for one last time. If you have not followed the online signing tutorial, please go through it to sign this unsigned application and install it in your phone.

The earlier version of Helloox requires ROM patching. You don’t have to worry anymore as the latest version does everything automatically. Once installed, you will see the following processes one after another as in the screenshots below and you are done.
i don’t seem to be able to upload any files for the online signing process so i’m stuck, i can install neither freesigner nor helloox2.
after i login i click on the ’singing software’, then i get the upload page, then i browse the file ‘*.sis / *.sisx’, and then click on upload. then a dialogue box says ‘please choose cer.’
i don’t seem to have done any mistake have i?
is there anyother way i can get the file signed??
Before uploading the file you have to select the certificate. On top you will see the first option as ” >>My Certificates ” under which you have to select your certificate first and then proceed for uploading the unsigned software.
but what to do after the last picture msg above, coz i m installing a software and it states, certificate error… what to uninstall…
Do you mean that you have installed Helloox 2 successfully but still your phone is not hacked?

i have some problem installing it… cuz it gets stuck at “unpacking files” any ideas whats happening i already signed the application… please can you help me?

hi i need help with my 5530. i only have been using it for 3 wks then something terrible happened, some of the applications on my homescreen shortcut applications just went missing for no reason! my dialer and my contact keys werent responding when i press/touch the keys. i tried going to the homescreen settings-shortcuts and it says “no editable shortcuts available”. If I choose to press the call key (green telephone) and end key (red telephone) icons it also does nothing. I can’t simply enter a number and call it, or enter in a code.
I’m really stumped. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. I heard that hacking my phone and downloading hello OX2.0 will help me restore my phone… I dont know where to start, im overwhelmed bcoz i never done this stuffs before =’(
Hi, could someone please help me out on this one? I’ve already obtained my cert and key files and have followed the directions for the freeSigner… then when I tried installing the unsigned HelloOx2 (signing it with the freesigner)a message popped-up, “Errors found in operation. Logs are write to C:\Data\FreeSigner\FreeSigner/log”. How can i fix this so i could properly install the HelloOx2 app? Much appreciated!!
Also, the FreeSigner.log (found in my drive C:\FreeSigner folder) reported that the helloOx2 has an unkown key type.. thanks again. hoping someone could help me with this one
After hacking, is there a way to enable “Mail for Exchange” for models that don’t have it enabled? I just bought one in USA without realizing that this feature is not enabled and I badly want to enable google sync. I know this software is there, as I was prompted to update it soon after turning it on, but there is no MfE folder to access to and the corresponding options during the profile creation are disabled or don’t work.
I was able to follow the guide and install HellOx2, but when I start it, it shows the first two popups Mapping drives and Unpacking files, but then it simply exits. What could be going wrong here?
Update, after restarting the phone and rerunning the app, it went through fine. I still don’t know if this will allow me to enable MfE, but it was worth a shot.

and dude.. u .. u have uploaded the procedure to hack 5530, should be awarded for ur hardwork. i was tired of tryin to hack with other hellox versions but this was the easiest. Thanxx a lot..!!

hey,, why i cant instal the helloox “constrainded by the certificate” help me man…
i’ve read your replies and see that a lot of people are having trouble hacking the phone. so imma try to explain it to the end. first you have to carefully complete this guide: http://5530xpressmusic.com/nokia-5530-online-signing-process-installing-unsigned-applications/
and in the end of the completion when you are able to do this:
“4. After 24 hours when you will click on “Apply Cer”.You will see 3 new options as Signing Software, Cer and Key. Click on “Signing Software” and it will take you to upload screen.”
just upload the file “HelloOX2.Unsigned.sis” and download it back as the guide says. now install the file “opda.cn_bears_HelloOX2Unsigned.sisx” onto your phone (dunno if it works when you install it on memory card, i did it on phone’s memory). when the install completes, launch the newly installed application. now you will see the processes shown on this page. when everything completes, uninstall the application and launch the ROMpatcher aplication on your phone. there you will see Installserver_FP2 and open4all. just press option->patch->enable on both of them. bingo! hope this helps.
Hello!! may be you can help me with my problem. I have installed some apps that run very well on my nokia5530, but for some reason now i can’t install anything. First i select the (already signed) .sis file and then the install process gets cut off for no aparent reason. The last thing i do is select yes when the security warning appears, then the installation closes and that’s it … i can’t get it to work. Any ideas?
