Nokia 5530 Tutorial – Signing Unsigned Applications, Games and Themes directly from your phone
If you have followed my last tutorial on online signing process for Nokia 5530 then you must have got these files, developer key (.key file) and developer certificate (.cer file) from “Step 3″. If not then please follow that tutorial till first 3 steps, as these 2 files are must for signing applications directly on your phone.
1. Download and Install Freesigner on your Nokia 5530. Go to Applications Folder and open Free Signer. There you will see options, click on it and select “Settings” as shown above.
2. In settings you will see “Sign Cert” please choose it, there you will see 3 options as shown above. Now browse for the .cer file. If you have saved it in phone memory then choose “Phone memory” otherwise “Mass Memory”. Similarly, select “Sign Key” and navigate through the .key file.
3. After loading both the files the screen should look as above.
4. You are almost done. Now just go back and click on “Add Task”. Here you can browse through the unsigned application, game or theme saved in your phone memory/memory card. Once the file is chosen select options and click “Add” as in the screenshot above.
5. Now simply choose the first option i.e “Sign Sis” .
6. The Unsigned application is ready to get signed just choose options and click “Go!”. The application is ready for installation.
If you don’t like the signing process at all, then wait for my next tutorial on Nokia 5530 hack. After hacking your 5530, you are free to install all kind of applications, games and themes without going through any signing process.

hey man the error of logs are written to c free signer when i install the appl. object type not supported
i am not being able to upload files.. when i click the upload button it just displays “please choose cer._”
please help me out..

Hi, how to install Free signer on my phone? Do I need to sign it first and then install it to my phone? I followed the Online signing process tutorial but I only can get file .sisx, why can’t I ger file .key, or .cer?

I Change the phone (Nokia 5530 Xpress Music) date to 2008, still it gives error message “Certificate may not be valid, is expired or phone settings may be incorrect”. Pls help me.
I too have the same error as given above even after changing the date to 2008.
What steps can be tried to install Freesigner?
i have got .cer & .key files but i’m unable to download these files on my computer.

Do you have any other step that can be tried to install Freesigner or hacking is the only option?
I resolved it by uploading the Freesigner to the site (chk the tutorial on online signing process) and downloaded the signed version.

Does it mean that I am already hacking my phone or is it the other way around? when I would just about to install the helo0×2 application on my phone?… And a follow up question… Would you prefer Helo0×2 or freesigner?
