Opera Mini 5 available for download – Tabbed Browsing and Copy/Paste within Web Browser for the first time
Now lets open a web page to see how it looks on Opera Mini 5. When you will load the page a mini map of page will appear. You can zoom in to a specific area of interest.
The zoomed in page will look as above. You can also set “mobile view” in settings to fit the page along the screen width so that you don’t have to scroll much.
By pressing the left selection key you will see additional options as in the above screenshot. You must have noticed that on top of the page, 3 tabs are open. Yeah, that’s true you can open multiple tabs in Opera Mni 5. It is one of the best feature of Opera Mini 5. By pressing the down, navigation key a drop down will appear as show above. You can see the options for saving bookmark, checking history , opening saved pages, managing settings and finding something on a web page.
Did you install this on your 5530? Those screen shots are not what I see on my 5530. Those screenshots are from a non-touchscreen phone.
Also, quick question, any idea how to give opera mini permission to connect to the internet any time it wants. Every time I start the application it will give me the “Allow network connection” stuff and I only get an option to deny or “Allow for this session”, but no option to always allow.
Any ideas? Does anyone else have this issue on their 5530?
Btw Opera 5 is without doubt the finest browser out there for S60 IMO. Absolutely awesome.
Hi, Lutin those screenshots are from my N82.and regarding permission to use network, you have to go through it every time as opera mini is a java application.You will get used to it after sometime.

I actually did end up solving this problem by downloading opera 5 mini through the phone. The first time I installed it I downloaded it to my computer, transferred it to the phone and then installed it. This method DID NOT give me the option to always allow.
I uninstalled it and then downloaded it on the phone by going to the opera website through the phone’s browser. This then gives me the option to “Always allow” the first time that Opera connects to the net.
Hope this helps someone else with the same prob.
I want to connect to the internet via GPRS through opera.but when i open opera mini in my Nokia 5530,its starts with the installation and then one message pops up which says allow application to use network and send pr receive data??then there is two options
1.allow once
2.allow for this session
but i tried with the both option,but is says failed to connect to the internet.
Versus the big boy N97, N97 mini is a little smaller. Screen is around 3.2 inches , keys are smaller and the D-Pad controller is missing. Too bad the price will not make it sell so good.

i downloaded it in my 5530 XM but it seems that the memory is not enough. it always tells me that memory is full. how do i solve this?
and also.. does opera runs only with GPRS or isit compatible with wifi? i mean it doesnt tells me which network is used to be connect
